In my HUNK the gear shifting is too hard and also the engine is not smooth enough after 60kmph. Suggest Solns.?
I bought a HUNK about 3 days ago. I found that the gear shifting is hard and I also noticed slight vibrations when it crosses 60 kmph. Also as the speedo reaches 80 kmph I find a slight vibration near the gear box or lower part of the engine. Also I did not find it smooth as the engine seems loaded after 60 kmph, as if I am riding it at 4th gear although I am riding it at 5th gear. But even with these probs, the acceleration was smooth and I rode at 100 kmph.

Also after riding it at high speeds the gear shifting becomes harder. Is it natural as my bike is new and I have only ridden abt 200 kms on it ?? Also will these probs persist ?? Is there any solution ??

If I was you I would go back to the dealer & have a chat to him describe your problems & let him tell you why! If that is the normal handling of the bike he will tell you. But the bike will get smoother as you get more Ks' up There is a stiffness in all things new, they just need to be worked, happy riding.

Smooth stove top. Absolutely can't get stain/burn mark off? Suggestions?

Take a paper towel and douse it in water. Add a squirt of dishwashing liquid (any brand). Press the paper towel onto the mark. Let that sit for a few hours.

Then if the stove top is glass, scrub the area with an S.O.S. pad or a Brillo pad. Yes, you can use these pads on glass, as long as you also use a little soap for lubrication.

If the stove top is enamel or any other coated material, use a plastic scrubber instead of the steel wool.

The burned on food should come right off with these treatments.
